May 7-9, 2010

The Valley of Flowers Festival, known as the First Festival of Spring, has been celebrated every year since it started in 1963. This year marks the 48th year of the celebration.

2009 Valley of Flowers Queen's Court

During the three-day weekend of the festival, there is truly something for everyone. From carnival rides, to musical performances, home improvement booths, health information, baseball games, car show, a children’s area at the Eagan Center and carnival games at the Knights of Columbus Grounds. In addition there is a Tot Wheels Parade and an official Grand Parade. The crowning of the Valley of Flowers Queen and her Court takes place after the Grand Parade.

This year the Knights of Columbus will continue "Family Knight" on Thursday May 6,2010. On "Family Knight" from 4 to 8 p.m., only families will be allowed on the Knights Festival Grounds. All rides will be one ticket and there will be special one dollar meal items. It's a great way to preview all the weekend fun.
